Impact Protection-Column & Corner

Many buildings have problems with load-bearing columns located in high traffic areas, often resulting in accidental impacts and subsequent damage. Column impact protection is Pittman’s solution to the problem.

In most cases, relocating such columns is simply out of the question due to the extensive building alterations and downtime that would be required. Often, the only viable option is to take measures to protect the column and the vehicles that may impact it and it is for that purpose that this product has been designed.

The column impact protection system uses hard wearing straps which can be tightened to secure it around pillars of different sizes and shapes. This means the system is removable, making it easy to transfer to another location in your facility, or to take it with you when moving to a new one.

For square columns, the corner impact protection strips are ideal. These can be placed on all four corners, or just on those corners exposed to the most traffic and are self adhesive for instant, effortless installation.
