Thermoplastic line markings are straightforward to apply: sweep or power-wash the area until it is thoroughly clean, ensure the surface is free of dirt, grease or oil, then lay the marking in place and heat (using a blow torch or gas burner). The material should bubble (kind of like cheese on toast) ensuring that it adheres well to the surface. Thermoplastic line markings dry almost immediately, ready to walk or drive on. For best results ensure the surface is completely dry before applying the markings. While thermoplastic markings come in a kit form ready for self-install, it is recommended the installer has as a minimum advanced DIY skills and is completely safety aware.
