Fold-down Posts
Fold-down posts, are the most simple format – they lock in the upright position and can fold flat on the ground when unlocked, allowing the owner to gain access to the space. Fold-down posts are easy to use, easy to install and affordable – our most economical model is the BudgetBollard Fold-down Parking Post. Another advantage is that the post is always secure as it is bolted or concreted in – there are no storage issues or risks of losing the pole when the space is in use. Be careful though, a drop-down post may become a trip hazard when in the down position – to avoid this problem consider using the Commander Plus parking post which folds down flush with the ground just below the surface.
Retractable Bollards
When not in use, retractable bollards simply sink into the ground. This neat storage eliminates any trip hazards and means really simple operation. Some of our stronger retractable bollards are used for securing premises against ram raids, like the BudgetBollard anti-ram-raid bollard. For greater ease of use, consider the Major Retractable Barrier Post which comes with an optional gas-assisted lift action. Remember installing a retractable bollard means digging down at least the height of the post.
Removable Bollard Posts
