Safety Signs - Mandatory

Mandatory safety signs convey specific actions which must be taken. Typically mandatory safety signs are round, with a blue background. The safety colour blue should cover at least 50% of the sign in order to be compliant. In order to be fully compliant with 2007 regulations, all new mandatory safety signs should be symbol only and should not contain text. Text should only be shown on a supplementary sign.
