How do I install parking bollards?
Parking bollards installation can be made easy once you have all the materials and know-how on putting them down. For example with Flexbrite Flexible Bollards we have created a video that will show you how to install them in just 5 easy steps. For installation of the bollards you will require a 16mm drillbit and a ratchet. To begin you will simply mark the 3 holes of the flexible bollard and where you will drill. From there you will then clean the area of debris, once finished, and proceed to line the bollard up with the holes. To install you can then tighten the bollard into position using the appropriate ratchet.
Once bollards installation is complete you will have an instant means of demarcating out of bounds type areas and separating lanes of traffic where appropriate.
How do I install sub-surface bollards?
Parking bollards installation under the ground may be a little more difficult, but again at Pittman we have all the answers for you. When installing a sub-surface bollard you will need to bore out the hole enough for the bollard in question to fit and then proceed to fill around it. Once it has had time to set a concreted in bollard will provide excellent service for years to come.
