Traffex 2019 was an exciting time for Pittman Traffic and Safety Equipment as our team launched our two new product ranges at the annual show in the INEC Birmingham. The UK’s leading traffic show played host to many companies from all over the UK and Ireland - a fantastic opportunity for Pittman to launch the new XPT Traffic Calming Systems range and the ever-popular Impact Recovery System flex post range.
The Traffex 2019 show brought plenty of attendees to Pittman’s colourful stand, with plenty of interest surrounding the XPT Berlin Speed Cushion and Gorilla Post Removable Bollard in particular. Our expert sales team of Brendan and Michael were on hand to answer plenty of questions in relation to these ranges and welcomed plenty of old and new faces to the Pittman stand. Whether visitors were looking for prices, specifications or a simple demonstration our team were happy to oblige.
During the course of the Traffex show our team had a great opportunity to explain how each of our products worked and how they can provide traffic calming and traffic management solutions to their area. Many visitors were happy to hear how well the XPT Berlin speed cushion works and how much it can help to slow down traffic in an area, our latest example coming from the installation of cushions at Terminal 5 arrivals at Heathrow Airport.
This also gave visitors a chance to touch and see our excellent products in person - the Pittman stand boasted an excellent array of products from the XPT Traffic Islands to the Impact Recovery System Bike Lane Separators and much more. These products captured plenty of interest from the likes of local authority representatives and construction companies, all of whom were amazed to hear how quickly the modular rubber street furniture or bike lane separators can be installed on site – a must for keeping up with project deadlines.
The Gorilla Post Removable Bollard also proved a hit and gained plenty of admirers on the day. This highly effective post comes with a magnetic base and anchor plate that allows it to attach into place with ease. The Gorilla post in place on the stand gave attendees the chance to see how strong the magnetised base really is and to “test their might” against Pittman’s tough new bollard – suffice to say that the post stayed in place during the entirety of the show.
Traffex 2019 also saw the launch of Pittman’s brand new 32-page catalogue – highlighting the best-selling products and ranges for 2019. This new catalogue gives a great insight into the Pittman range and provides an extensive list on the “products to watch” for the coming year including our thorough warehouse range, wheel stops, flexible bollards, anti-fatigue matting and more.
At Pittman we are already looking forward to Traffex 2020 – see some of our favourite photos below from this year’s event.
