No Customs Charges or Paperwork For Deliveries From Pittman Traffic

We are an Irish company based in Co. Kildare so we can deliver within Ireland FAST and without any customs / paperwork hassle.

We can promise there will be no customs paperwork or charges for our customers on deliveries to Republic of Ireland. Most of our orders are shipped direct from our warehouse in Kildare. Some orders (like mats) will ship direct from our manufacturer in the Netherlands, so again this means no paperwork surprises on delivery. Plenty of our products are manufactured in the UK – any that are not in stock will come to our Irish warehouse first – again this means there will be no customs paperwork or charges when we deliver out to our customers.

Due to Covid and Brexit some of our products are on slightly longer leadtimes than normal – for complete peace of mind call our sales team on 01 531 2777 for current stock levels.

1. FAST shipping:

Pittman Traffic and Safety Equipment offer you FAST delivery nationwide on stock items. Standard delivery on stock items in Ireland is €14.50. Heavier and bulkier items will cost more - shipping is calculated at checkout - or call us on 01 531 2777 to place your order.

2. How do I receive my order?

For parcels we use Fastway and DHL. On despatch from Pittman Traffic and Safety Equipment you will receive an email or text message giving you the online tracking information, with contact details for the courier. This allows you to keep fully informed about delivery.

We have our own driver who makes daily deliveries to Dublin and Kildare. For larger orders (for instance several speed ramp kits or a large quantity of bicycle racks) these will be delivered using a pallet service.

3. Can I track my order?

Once we despatch your item from our warehouse in Kildare, we will either email you or text message you with a tracking number which can be tracked online.

We may also send packages to you direct from our warehouses throughout Europe, and larger orders may need to be placed on a pallet service. If you need to track these orders contact (01) 531 2777 and dial “2” for tracking. 

4. I’ve just made an online order, when will I receive my order?

We keep a large proportion of our range in stock at our warehouse in Co. Kildare. If we receive your order before 11am and the item is in stock at our warehouse, you can normally expect delivery the working next day.

5. Can you guarantee Next Working Day delivery of my order?

Brexit and Covid mean that delivery is taking slightly longer than usual so we no longer offer a Next Working Day service. Many of our orders will indeed arrive that fast but we cannot guarantee it.

6. Where do you deliver to?

7. Can I choose a delivery time for my order, or delay it until another time?

Unfortunately we can’t guarantee a delivery slot for you, but if you require a certain time to take delivery of your order, we have a “Special Request” section on the “REVIEW & PAYMENT” where you can give us any details on your delivery requirements. We will do our best to suit your needs

8. Can I change a delivery date after I make the order?

9. Collecting your order from our premises?

Pittman Traffic and Safety Equipment also offer you the choice to collect your order at our premises in Athy, Co. Kildare. We stock our most popular products in our warehouse all the time for immediate collection, which will be stated in the “Delivery” section on our product pages. 1. NO QUIBBLE Returns**

We are proud to offer a 30 day No Quibble Returns policy on all website orders for stock items. If for any reason you are not totally happy with your purchase, just return it to us within 30 calendar days of despatch (we suggest using a traceable service). Goods should be returned in their original packaging in a sale-able condition. The return carriage costs are paid by you. We will then exchange the goods or give a full refund – no questions or fuss.

**No Quibble Returns policy applies only to orders placed online at and only to items we keep in stock.

2. Return instructions

Stock Items
If you are not 100% satisfied with our stock items, you can simply return your item to our warehouse within 30 calendar days for a complete refund.
i. Place the item back in its original packaging. REMEMBER TO INCLUDE THE DELIVERY NOTE YOU RECEIVED WITH YOUR ORDER.
ii. We highly recommend using a courier with a tracking service or An Post’s Registered Post to return your items, as items that don’t reach us cannot be refunded and you can track your returns.
iii. Once the packaged is received at Pittman Traffic and Safety, we will fully refund your Credit Card (it may taks a couple of days for the funds to reach your account).

The quickest and easiest way to place an order is with Laser, MasterCard or Visa.

We can also accept Bank Transfers and Cheques; however we will need a few days to process these orders. We cannot release goods until the payment has been processed.
