The DB19 plastic dock bumper provides excellent protection to exposed loading dock edges. The bumper are designed to withstand heavy impacts and can be easily installed directly onto docks via the integral steel plate.
Each dock bumper is comprised of a steel frame, two rubber inserts and an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWP) plastic front. The steel frame houses the rubber inserts on the inside of the bumper, helping to absorbe truck impacts if the occur. The plastic front is high flexible and resistant to damage. Should any of these parts need to be replaced they can be done so easily by sliding them out.
To reduce the risk of snagging the front of the bumper has no fixing holes or crevaces. The front is completely flat and allows for excellent absorption of impacts should they occur. The bright yellow design of the dock bumpers can also work well as a driver parking aid.
