The rumble strips are an effective traffic-calming solution, providing a clear signal to drivers to reduce their speed in the designated area. Made from highly durable polyurethane, they are ideally suited for use with light vehicles and are not suited to HGV traffic.
Each rumble strip boasts a vibrant yellow colour, ensuring high visibility to drivers. They will also create a vibration for drivers to provide them with a physical and audible warning to slow down.
The strips are easily installed directly into the ground (please note that fixings are required but not included). These strips can be used to separate traffic lanes, making them invaluable in car parks, warehouses, on roads, and more.
The versatile rumble strips can also be used as wall guards, offering protection against trolleys, workplace machinery, and other potential impacts. Simply bolt them directly onto the wall where required.
Rumble strips should not be used solely as speed bumps. While they provide a physical and audible warning to drivers they will not slow traffic down. We recommend combining the strips with speed bumps if you need to slow vehicle traffic.
Rumble strips are commonly used on approach to car park exits, long stretches of private road or slopes.
The strips can also be bolted to walls for use as light duty wall protection.
