The Impact Recovery Systems MP FLEX POST can be installed quickly and easily and provides an excellent means of demarcating out of bounds areas and separating lanes of traffic. These flexible posts are suited for various types of areas and are ideal for motorways and roadsides.
Each flex post is made from high quality polypropylene and can withstand several impacts from vehicles, even if travelling up to 50mph. The flex posts can be equipped with any of our 4 base types and can be installed or deployed to site quickly.
The MP Flex Posts have a "squeezed section on the top which helps to widen the overall area that the reflective tape can sit on. This provides better visibility to oncoming vehicles and makes them suitable for various weather and lighting conditions.
Each flex post is fitted with a 360° rotational stainless steel spring that allows it to bend in the instance that impact occurs. Because the bollard will bend it reduces the damage to both the bollard and the impacting vehicle. The rotational spring is suitable in many environments and can be used where salt trucks are in use.
