Here at Pittman Traffic and Safety Equipment we supply a vast range of bike storage solutions that are perfect for many kinds of environments and applications. An excellent way of storing bikes is by using a Two-Tier Bike Rack system. Two-Tier Bike Racks help you store bikes in an area while utilising as much space as possible. While you store bikes in lower racks on ground level you can then use a two-tier bike rack to store bikes above them.
What are two-tier bike racks?
Two tier bike racks allow for storage of bikes on 2 levels - the upper tiers allows bikes to be locked into place and help to maximise storage space in an area. The systems themselves are quick and easy to use and the overall usage is made simple and reliable at all times. One of the first options in this system is the manual 2 tier bike rack. These bike racks allow for quick and easy bike storage - bike racks can be stored on the ground level as well as the upper struts of the system. Each upper tier of the bike rack is fitted with 2 handles that allow the user to store their bike with ease, reducing the effort required to pull the strut down and back up again when required.
For something that requires even less effort you could also use the Gas-Assisted Two-Tier Bike Rack. These bike rack systems work on a similar level to the manual one in that the upper struts can be pulled out and down when you need to store a bike. However, these bike racks have a slight advantage in that they are fitted with a gas-assist feature that allow for even easier lifting of the upper strut when needed, reducing the load for the user while also maintaining consistent reliability at all times.
All Two-Tier Bike Rack systems can be made in a modular format and can be manufactured to suit the amount of bikes you require storage for. Two tier bicycle racks provide an excellent storage option for many environments types and allow you to maximise the amount of bike storage where necessary.
