What can I do about school safety?
Regarding school safety you can employ several different methods to protect students and staff alike. Using speed bumps to control the speed of parents and visitors to the school is very popular amongst schools. School boards also use bollards and signage to demarcate out of bounds type areas in order to deter vehicles from entering into places with children at play.
Our most popular speed bump with schools is the XPT-50 Speed Bump Kit 50mm - the pure vulcanised rubber design makes it extremely hard-wearing and suitable for long term use. These speed bumps will slow traffic to approximatley 10km/h and will deter parents and visitors from driving too fast on school grounds.
If you are separating students and staff from vehicle traffic a popular option is our Flexbrite Flexi Bollard. These tough rubber bollards will bend on impact should it occur but can also be equipped with addional signage to warn drivers.

Pittman have several products that can assist with creating bike safety for your school. Bike safety has become such an important topic amongst schools and colleges with great importance being placed on healthy living for younger generations.
Our bike racks can offer excellent protection and security for bicycles while they are locked in place. One of our most popular bike racks is the Low Profile Bike Rack, with storage for up to 6 bikes per unit. For additional bikes the racks can be bolted together end-on-end.

Standard delivery on stock items is approximately 2-3 days from date of order. Non-stock items and bespoke items may deliver from one of our UK or European warehouses and can range range from 2 to 8 weeks.
Please note that all delivery times are estimates only and we are not responsible for any event or delay out of our control.
We ship orders daily using Fastway, DHL and various pallet services. The standard shipping charge is €14.50 for single or small quantities that can go with a regular courier.
Larger items and quantities may require delivery via pallet service. Pallet charges range from €80.00 for single pallets or €160.00 for double pallets.

We accept all Laser, Mastercard, Visa and Paypal payments through our website or over the phone. If you would prefer to pay via bank transfer we can send you a pro-forma invoice with our relevant bank details. Orders are processed once full payment has been received.
We offer a 30-day no quibble returns policy on stock items only. If you would like to return stock items you can do so easily by returning them to our main Athy office at your cost.
Please note all items must be in original condition and packaging. Any refunds will be made once the items are checked by our warehouse team and deemed to be in good condition.
