The Spillchoice Oil Absorbent Boom is specifically designed to contain and recover oil that has spilled into water. Suitable for fresh and sea water, the boom consists of an outer plastic netting housing a spunbound inner sock. A tough nylon rope runs the entire length of the boom for added strength.
The absorbent core is mad from very fine meltblown fibres which allows more oil to penetrate deeper into the centre and hold it tight in there. The booms can be joined together using the rust proof metal rings and snap hook ends. This allows for the boom to cover large areas and is suitable for rivers, lakes or construction sites.
